Dr.-Ing. Harald Ludanek studied mechanical engineering/structural durability in Clausthal. After working as Head of Complete Vehicle Development and Test Engineering at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg, he was a member of the Board of Management and responsible for Research and Development at Scania, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG. Since February 2016, Dr. Harald Ludanek has been Chief Development Officer of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand. On the Clausthal University of Technology Council, he is committed to the future viability of the university. In August 2016, he was appointed honorary professor at Clausthal University of Technology.
