Awarding of golden diplomas to the graduating classes of 1970 - 1973

As a reminder of the wonderful time studying in Clausthal and to honor our graduates who obtained their diploma at our university 50 years ago, the President of Clausthal University of Technology has been presenting the golden diploma certificates to our alumni and alumnae at a ceremony every year since 2012.

The next "Gold Diploma" ceremony will take place

in October 2024

in the Aula Academica

We kindly ask you to register early and send us your address details.


We cordially invite the graduates of the class of 1974 to attend.

The Academic Ceremony begins at 11.00 a.m. (s.t.). Admission is from 10.30 am.

After the award ceremony and a joint snack, there may be the opportunity to visit selected institutes.

On the evening before the ceremony, there will be an informal social gathering in Clausthal from 7:30 p.m. Pictures or souvenirs from your student days are very welcome at this point. Surely you have changed a bit visually since leaving the university. Please bring a name badge for the meeting the evening before, if you have one. It makes it easier to recognize you quickly.

We look forward to seeing our alumni again, to exciting stories and diverse CVs that show the career prospects that studying at Clausthal University of Technology can offer.

  • Please register in advance. Participation in the events at the TU is free of charge. You are responsible for booking and paying for your own accommodation and meals at the meeting the evening before.
