... then celebrate your silver diploma anniversary with us in 2024.

The beginnings:
In 2015, the silver diplomas were awarded to the graduates of the 1990 graduating class by the President of the University at a ceremony. This was followed by a champagne reception. In the evening, alumni celebrated together with professors, students, family members and friends of Clausthal University of Technology at a summer party with a live band in the auditorium. The event was embedded in a series of events. These included the TU Annual Assembly, which was hosted by Faculty 3 and highlighted a specialist scientific topic.

On June 18, 2016, over 70 graduates from the 1991 graduating class received their silver certificates at a ceremony in the Aula Academica. Over 140 guests attended the event, which was conceived and organized by Alumni Management. A colourful supporting programme and a party organized by the students in the StuZ rounded off the day. On June 10, 2017, around 150 guests from all over the world traveled to Clausthal to celebrate the silver diploma with the graduates of the 1992 graduating class.

On June 9, 2018, the academic ceremony "25-Year Diploma!" was held in honor of 80 graduates and with just as many guests and friends of Clausthal University of Technology.

On June 15, 2019, the silver diplomas were once again awarded to almost 80 jubilarians by the President of Clausthal University of Technology. It was a wonderful celebration with over 160 guests from all over the world: Canada, South America, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Austria and from all over Germany.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Silver Diploma ceremonies for 2020 and 2021 had to be canceled. However, graduates from 1995 and 1996 were able to register for the ceremony in 2022 and celebrate the event together with the graduating class of 1997. It was another wonderful celebration with over 250 guests from Germany and abroad.

We kindly ask those who have already registered in previous years and were unfortunately unable to attend the ceremony or fell ill to register again for the event in 2024 using the form.
